AR21840R (Large)

The AR21840R is a hose clamp used on many John Deere machines and has many sub numbers. It replaces a lot of numbers because it is an adjustable clamp. However, many of the clamps it replaced are different sizes.

For example: The John Deere parts book for the 420 and 430 tractors states the AR21840R is used on the air cleaner hoses and the radiator hoses. , the air cleaner is 2” ID (2-1/2” OD) and the radiator is 1-1/2” ID (1-7/8 OD). But each clamp has a different sub number. Air Cleaner Hose Clamp: M3283T and AM3010T. Radiator Hose Clamp: T271T.

Many of the John Deere tractors originally came from factory with this style of single wire clamp. The 420 and 430 came with single wire clamps on the Air Cleaner, Radiator, and the water pump by-pass.
