5121385 Governor Control Link Boot for John Deere 435, 440ID, and 440ICD tractors. I’m not positive, but I believe this fits all Detroit Diesel 2-53s. It is used as a seal. It seals oil in the valve train, where the governor control rod enters the engine, as well as seals dust and dirt out of the engine. Measures 1 5/8 Long x 1 3/16. The openings measures 3/4 (Engine block end) and 3/16 (Governor rod end).
