22H738 is the set screw used on the hydraulic tensioners of John Deere 430, 440IC, 440ICD, and 1010 crawlers. It is the set screw used to release grease from the hydraulic tensioners to release the tension in the track. Used with the 405R (L467T) ball.
It is the same set screw as 22H999.
The 430’s, 440IC’s, and the 440ICD’s used part number 22H738.
The 1010’s used the part number 22H999. Late 1010’s (Serial Number 31000-) used the 22H956 Set Screw.
